At last everyone is here and all luggage arrived (eventually, for some..). We had our first touring day this morning, taking in Table Mountain on a GORGEOUS Cape Town morning. A lengthy walk through the city got the blood flowing in stiff, travel-weary legs and half the group is now exploring the Cape townships while the other half relaxes at the hotel or shops up a storm at the V&A Waterfront. We meet tonight for our first group get-together and welcome dinner. Feel free to leave comments and messages for your friends and family. They appreciate your interest in their travels.

Jacqui,
Thanks so much for blogging away about our dad’s travels (Jim Haley). Knowing what Jim and Nancy are seeing and doing on the trip as it happens is exciting to read about! And to see them in the pictures lets us see, too, what a great time they’re having. Thanks so much for providing this service.
Please tell Jim and Nancy that their kids are thrilled for them that they’re having such an exciting trip.
Take care,
Pam Haley Seastrand
Jacquie, it’s great that you have this blog. Please tell Rosalie Relleve that her family hopes she is having a wonderful time. Her grandson has the flu, but he’s much better today compared with yesterday. No fever anymore, and he’s watching an Angel’s game on TV right now.
Thanks,
Jeane Relleve Caveness
Hi Mom, Dean, Aunt Diane and Uncle Bob. Hope you all are rested from your flight and having a great time so far. I will be keeping tabs on you through this website. What a great thing for us back at home.
Love you
Julie
