When will you get married?

This was the question Pilar was asked by the Maasai girls. An obvious one from children of a community where the only purpose of a woman is to be married and bear as many children as possible. Most African communities find it inconceivable for a woman to be unmarried and/or without children. Even people I work with frequently in East Africa believe I’ll one day have children. The choice is not mine to make, they say…. So it’s probably a good thing Chris and I travel separately so much…
